And what if it does? The date is 5 so it is one digit.
I doubt that, your
day_expiration
contains only a single digit.The same test returns True on my ide and when i put the same code here it returns False. I printed evething I could and it seems like it should work in here too.
You should debug your own code, but it's a problem with how you parse your expiration date. Add some prints, see why it fails.
